Digestive Health Nutrition Support
Digestive symptoms can affect far more than your stomach. They may influence your energy, mood, confidence around food, social life and everyday routines.
I provide personalised nutritional therapy for adults experiencing ongoing digestive concerns, both in Edinburgh and online across the UK. My approach is to understand your individual story rather than placing you immediately on a restrictive diet or standard protocol.
You May Be Looking for Support If You Experience:
persistent or frequent bloating
IBS-type symptoms
suspected or previously diagnosed SIBO
constipation or diarrhoea
reflux, indigestion or upper digestive discomfort
abdominal pain, wind or changes in bowel habits
foods that appear to trigger symptoms
digestive changes during perimenopause or menopause
anxiety or confusion about what to eat
symptoms that have continued despite trying several diets or supplements
How I Work
We begin by exploring when your symptoms started, how they have changed and what you have already tried.
I consider your digestive concerns alongside your health history, usual meals, eating patterns, medications, supplements, stress, sleep, movement and other aspects of your wellbeing.
Depending on your circumstances, we may explore areas such as food variety, fibre intake, meal timing, hydration, digestive tolerance, nutrient intake and the possible influence of medications or lifestyle factors.
Functional testing may be discussed when it is likely to answer a useful question or influence your recommendations. It is not automatically required for every client.
Your Personalised Plan May Include:
practical changes to meals and eating patterns
support increasing food variety where appropriate
adjustments to fibre and fluid intake
simple recipes and kitchen ideas
strategies for identifying personal food triggers without unnecessary restriction
support with stress, sleep and daily routines
review of current supplements and medications
supplement recommendations where appropriate
questions or investigations to discuss with your GP
functional testing guidance when genuinely useful
The goal is to give you a clear and manageable way forward—not another confusing list of foods to avoid.
